  • Virgin - Dine and Donate

Passenger's could be offered up the chance while using the onboard system to order beverages and dining items, to also donate a small amount to local charities based on the cities the flight is traveling to and from. Think of it as micro donations to help sustain local change in the communities that Virgin serves and where their passengers live and work. An additional add on incentive would be for Virgin to do matching donations of any in flight passenger donations.

Fantastic idea! I would definitely participate in this, and I think it brings into focus the global community that an airline would want to promote.

This sounds like a great way to let passengers feel like they're getting involved in the community they're flying to before they even touch the ground.

It would be great to see Virgin pick a new charity every month to feature in their local bank of opportunities!
